PROTEST AT MICHIGAN BELL: A breakdown in the office air conditioning unit yesterday afternoon caused 17 operators on the long-distance and information switch board to walk off their jobs. A picket line was quickly formed outside the company building at 323 E. Washington St. They were back at work today.
