Concrete, mechanical and electrical work is being done concurrently on the new 20,000-square-foot addition to the Ann Arbor Public Library, 343 S. Fifth Ave. The addition will provide space for seating and shelving and is expected to be completed in early 1974. Administrators estimate the addition will cost about $941, 501 under the bond budget of $989,000. The addition was designed by Donald E. Van Curler, architect. Construction manager for the project is Jeffress-Dyer, Inc.
