Exceptional Dahlia: T. Luther Purdom of 1547 Washtenaw Ave., director emeritus of the University's Bureau of Appointments, displays an unusually large dahlia blossom from his garden. The blossom, which measures more than 12 inches across, was exhibited at a noon meeting of the Ann Arbor Rotary Club yesterday in the Michigan Union. Purdom specializes in growing this beautiful variety of plant.
