The whole process of making clothing for war relief has been developed on almost a small factory basis to promote efficiency and speed production. CHAIRMAN OF THE DAY: The Washtenaw County Red Cross has been busy making clothing for war relief, with volunteers in Ann Arbor, Ypsilanti and other local communities throughout the county participating in the work. At the Red Cross production headquarters in the old hospital building on Catherine St., the chairman of the day has the responsibility of checking materials in and out and giving information. At left is Mrs. Wassily Besekirsky, chairman of all the chairmen of the day, and at right, Mrs. Herbert Kenyon, one of the chairmen.
