The Michigan Eye Bank, member of the Eye Bank Association of America, was started eight years ago by the Ann Arbor Lions Club in co-operation with the U-M Medical Center. Many Lions clubs in the state now help finance the project. This sign in the new office lists the substations covering most of the Lower Peninsula. Dr. John W. Henderson of the U-M is medical director of the State Eye Bank, and John P. Paup of Ann Arbor is treasurer.
