Caption:
Learning New Liturgy - U-M student Paul Holtfreter is shown leading the 25-member teen-age choral study group at Zion Lutheran Church as it develops a modern liturgy. Holtfreter arranged the music for the group and also wrote new words and music for the Agnu Dei. Trumpet, bass and drum accompaniment are by Sam Damren, Dave Glass, and Bob Benford. JoAnn Gillen is soloist. Tomorrow the group will perform for area Lutheran women at their spring retreat at Tecumseh Woods, Tipton, and Sunday at a Luther League rally in Bloomfield Hills. The youths say the new liturgy is more meaningful to them.
