W. H. Black of Belleville was one of a crew of electricians who yesterday put the circles of lights into working order on the 152 "season's greetings" plaques scattered throughout the business districts of the city. The plaques and other decorative material were installed last week on 76 posts by a Grand Rapids firm as part of a Christmas season promotion program financed at a cost of some $2,000 by the Ann Arbor Chamber of Commerce and the Retail Merchants Association.

Stadium Blvd. are part of the "demonstration sign" display being prepared by the Chamber of Commerce to indicate what size signs would be permissable [sic] under the proposed sign ordinance and what they would look like to passing motorists and pedestrians. Of several signs to be placed at various business places, there were only the two completed this morning.
