It is among the most modern and up-to-date plants in the country. Among the facilities is a 25-cage "adoption room" (bottom), where animals are displayed for adoption. Right Size For Children's Christmas Stocking: Six of eight puppies eligible and hopeful of finding masters by Christmas romp under the stern surveillance of Hamlet, a great dane, at the Humane Society shelter. The all-black dogs are cocker spaniels, and the black-and-whites are a combination of springer spaniel and shepherd. Along with at least 30 adult dogs, the shelter also has 20 cats for give-away. Hamlet, however, is not among them. He's the property of Jack Marshall, humane officer.
