Vandals broke windows, turned over desks, knocked clocks off wall and battered about 10 cassette recorders and typewriters Saturday. Riggs has estimated damage at "roughly $5,000." Their Art's Selected ~ Larry Young (left to right), Debbie Belcher and Mark Letherer will have their art work displayed in Sen. Robert Griffin's Washington, D.C., office for the next nine months. The opportunity was granted by the Michigan Art Education Association, according to Eberwhite School art teacher Joan Beaver, who selected the students' work. Larry's picture is a duck of crayon and ink, Debbie's shows flowers and trees done in chalk and Mark's, also in chalk, show trees in the snow.
