These Dog Days of Spring: When citizens complained that dogs were decorating Ann Arbor parks with leftovers, city staff discussed the problem and decided to try to 'educate' pet owners. But when dogs over-ran the Community High School soccer field, the school called out its team and went on the offensive. DEAN-TO-BE: Robert Galardi, who will take over as dean of Community High School on July 1, talks to members of the school newspaper staff. Topics discussed ranged from the school's budget and constitution to Galardi's views on drugs and racism. 'I want Community High to be the best school in the city,' said Galardi, who has been president of the Ann Arbor Education Association for the last four years. The interview is scheduled to run in the school newspaper, The Communicator, on Friday.
