Angell School Girl Scout Troop 120 is shown making dressing for the Ann Arbor Cancer Information Center which in turn gives them free to cancer patients who need them in the Ann Arbor area. The Scouts are one of 40 local groups who make dressings. Among the groups are the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, which last year made more than 5,000 dressings. A total of 50 patients were aided last year. The center also operates a loan closet which loaned items ranging from blankets to an oxygen mask to 20 patients last year. Mrs. Francis Wessinger is dressings chairman, assisted by Mrs. J. Gordon McDonald. The Ann Arbor Unit of the American Cancer Society is conducting a $7,000 fund drive here this month.
