Santa's Helper On The Beat: Ann Arbor's "Santa Claus," or as he prefers to call himself, "Santa' helper," can be found these days guiding school children across the streets at Seventh St. and Pauline Blvd. But his new job as school policeman is only a sideline for Albert F. Warnhoff's first love -- making toys for needy children at Christmas time. Warnhoff has built more that 26,000 toys, and has gained national recognition for his hobby. He has been making toys for more than 50 years.
