BONJOUR, PIERRE: Members of Le Club Dramatique Francais at Angell Elementary School warm up to their parts in "Pierre Pan," a French version of J. M. Barrie's "Peter Pan." The cast includes (from the left) Steve Smith as Captaine Crochet, Pat Spensley as Pierre Pan, Betsy Sallade as Michel, Debbie Conard as Jean, Amy Ford as Wendy, and Constance Higham as Clochette. The play was performed to a full house of Angell students yesterday afternoon and will be given again today at 8 p.m. in the school auditorium for the public free of charge.

'AND NOW—': Pam Julin (left) is all set to announce the start of "Peter Mouse Visits the Moon," a puppet show written and produced by the kindergarten class at Angell School. Kevin Thieme (right) is curtain puller. Manipulating the two astronaut puppets at left are Laura Fleming and Robbie Spencer. The mechanics puppets at right are operated by Matt Heywood and Paul LesStrang. The show will open at 9:30 a.m. Monday in the kindergarten room puppet theater, with additional performances at 10:30 a.m. and at 1:15 and 2:15 p.m. Curtain times will be the same for performances on Tuesday.

PRINCIPAL FETED: Retiring Angell School Principal Dorothy Buckley (right) receives a lei of carnations from former teacher Mrs. Janet Hirota during a reception in her honor yesterday. The string of hundreds of carnations and another of orchids were flown in from Hawaii for the occasion which drew a steady stream of well-wishers for three hours at the Ann Arbor High School. Miss Buckley also was given a $1,500 check representing contributions of parents, associates, former pupils and friends.
