NOTICE
The tenth concert in the Choral Union Series will be given by the Roth String Quartet, Thursday, March 9.
The Steimaay Piano and the Skinner Organ are the official concert instruments of the University Musical Society

CONCERTS
The Forty-Sixth Annual May Festival will be given on May 10, 11, 12 and 13. It will consist of six programs, four evening concerts and two matinees. Earl V. Moore, Musical Director, will present the Choral Union in several works, while the Philadelphia Orchestra, under Eugene Ormandy and Saul Caston, will participate throughout. The Young People's Festival Chorus under Juva Higbee, will be heard at the Friday afternoon concert.
Soloists will include the following: Gladys Swarthout, Helen Jepson, Selma Amansky, Sopranos; Marian Anderson and Elizabeth Wysor, Contraltos; Giovanni Martinelli, Jan Peerce, and Giuseppe Cavadore, Tenors; Richard Bonelli and Norman Cordon, Baritones; Ezio Pinza, Bass; Georges Enesco, Violinist and Guest Conductor; Rudolf Serkin, Pianist.
Tickets may be ordered by mail at $6.00, $7.00 and $8.00 each. (If Festival coupons from Choral Union season tickets are presented by original purchasers, the prices are reduced to $3.00, $4.00 and $5.00).
