HOSPITAL UNIT ON ITS WAY: Members of the University of Michigan Hospital Unit, organized for service overseas, left this afternoon by train for a southwestern camp for a few weeks of intensive military training before embarking for "some war zone.” Here are 18 of the 27 surgeons and physicians, and Miss Lt. Margaret K. Shafer, chief of the 30 nurses, in the contingent. The unit is headed by Lt.-Col. Walter G. Maddock, who is also chief of the surgical service. Maj. Edgar A. Kahn is assistant chief of surgical service and Maj. John M. Sheldon is chief of medical service.
