Miss Minnie C. Horner
YPSILANTI ̶ Miss Minnie C. Horner, native of Cherry Hill and resident of Ypsilanti since 1919, died today at her home, 116 N. Washington St., following an illness of seven weeks.
She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry F. Horner, and for many years was a public school teacher, having taught at Newberry, Trenton, Cherry Hill and Sheldon, and at Valley City, N. D. After retiring from the teaching profession she for four years conducted sight-seeing tours to various places of interest in the United States and Canada.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and for the past two years had been president of the Guild there; and was a member of the D.A.R. and the Ladies Literary club.
Surviving are a brother, M. E. Horner, Los Angeles, Calif., one nephew and one niece.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Friday at the Geer funeral home here with Rev. Reginald Appleyard officiating. Burial will be in Highland cemetery here.
