University hospital, viewed from the air, is an imposing structure. Shown in the foreground is the front entrance of the hospital, which faces Observatory St., with E. Ann St. leading to the left. The road going down hill to the right is the entrance to the University Terrace apartments, which are located on the hills north and east of University hospital overlooking the Huron river. In the lower center is Simpson Memorial Institute and the lower left reveals a part of University Observatory. The municipal golf course may be seen in the upper right-hand corner and in the center top is the intersection of Fuller St. with Wall St., and the Wall St. bridge over the Huron river. The above picture is the third in a series of four air views of the University campus which are being published by The Ann Arbor News. Stewart Love, professional photographer, took the pictures at a low altitude in a Piper Cub piloted by Paul Hanson. He used an Army-type camera and lens.
