Mrs. Anna B. Sweitzer Long-Time Resident Of Superior Township Dies YPSILANTI - Mrs. Anna B. Sweitzer, 81, wife of the late Gottlieb Sweitzer, died Sunday morning in Sessions Hospital, Northville, after a five-day illness. She lived at 3152 Gotfredson Rd. in Superior township. Mrs. Sweitzer was born on Feb. 13, 1872, in Germany, and came to the United States in 1889. She had lived on the Gotfredson Rd. farm since 1895. Her husband died on Feb. 8, 1949. She was a member of the Emanuel Lutheran Church. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Sophia Snow of Northville; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. A second daughter, Katherine, died on Aug. 7, 1940. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Geer Funeral home, with the Rev. Harley C. Sipe officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
