GROUNDBREAKING SUNDAY: The congregation and church school members of Stony Creek Methodist Church. 8699 Stony Creek Rd will move outdoors, 1,000 feet to the north of the present edifice, for groundbreaking ceremonies for this new $140,000 educational unit. The program will begin about 10 a.m., immediately following the 9 a.m. worship service. Mrs. Claribel Colby, a 60-year member of the church, will take the first shovel of earth. Also participating will be building chairman Ed Wasem, board chariman Edward Lutz, trustee chairman George Lutz and Pastor William E. Frayer. The new unitl will provide 12 classrooms and a multipurpose room.
