Johe To Address National Conference
Assistant Dean Herbert W. Johe of the University’s College of Architecture and Design will be among those addressing mathematics teachers from across the nation at the 17th annual Mathematics Education Conference Feb. 4, at the U-M.
Johe will speak on “Mathematics in Art and Architecture.” Other speakers will include mathematicians from universities, industry, and secondary schools throughout the country.
The conference is designed primarily for elementary and secondary school mathematics teachers, supervisors and administrators. It will be co-sponsored by the U-M School of Education, Literary College Department of Mathematics, and the Extension Service as a program in the University’s sesquicentennial celebration.
