New Leads Found In Attorney’s Death
Sheriff’s Police said today they are encouraged by some new leads uncovered in the slaying of Manchester attorney Peter A. Kensler.
“We don’t really know if these leads will be as good as others we’ve had,” said Lt. Laird Harris of the Sheriffs Department, “becuase we still have to check them out. But we have some new leads to one of our early theories about the murder and it does look quite promising.” Harris would not elaborate on the leads or the police’s theories.
“We uncovered some names and information late last week while going through Kensler’s personal things,” HArris said. “Now we’re trying to piece together his activities on certain days' and tie them in with the names.”
Kensler, 36, was found slain in the front yard of his Manchester home Feb. 4. Police said he died of at least one gunshot would to the head around 5:30 p.m. the preceeding evening.
