Danforth, Percy O. "Mr. Bones"
Ann Arbor, MI
Age 92, died Wednesday, June 10, 1992 at Hillside Terrace. He was born March 11, 1900 in Grand Forks, ND, the son of Louis and Marion (Armstrong) Danforth. Mr. Danforth had been an area resident since 1918. On April 14, 1927 he married Frances Adams, and she survives. Mr. Danforth was a well-known area musician and an active supporter of and performer at the Ark. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, World War I. Mr. Danforth was a graduate of the University of Michigan Architectural College and active with the U of M Alumni and the Michigan Union. Survivors in addition to his wife are two sons, Malcolm A. Danforth of Fraser, MI and Douglas A. (Isabel) Danforth of Weathersfield, CT; four grandchildren, Jason A. and Carrie Lynn, Jonathan L. and Rachel Anne. He was preceded in death by a brother George. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Hillside Terrace at a later date. Arrangements by the MUEHLIG CHAPEL.
