Game to determine coffee-mug wager
If the Michigan Wolverines lose Saturday’s game against Ohio State, Ann Arbor Mayor Ingrid Sheldon will have to swallow her pride with her coffee.
Sheldon and Mayor Gregory Lashutka of Columbus - where that other university makes its home -decided to continue a friendly rivalry over the outcome of Saturday’s game.
The losing mayor will have to spend his/her next council meeting sipping from a mug sporting the winning team’s logo.
Last year, Michigan’s 28-0 victory over Ohio State earned Sheldon and City Hall a bushel of Ohio apples.
The game will be broadcast on Channel 7 at Noon.
