Age 81, died Friday morning at Arbor Hospice Residence. Mr. Lyon was born in East Grand Rapids, Michigan on December 27, 1917. He was the son of Wiley T. and Mary Alice (Manwaring) Lyon. On May 29, 1961 he married Toyoko Takei in Tokyo, Japan and she survives. Mr. Lyon was employed by Hoover Ball and Bearing Company for 24 years, 15 of which were in Japan as Resident Manager. He retired in 1981. He was a World War II veteran and an avid golfer and member of Travis Pointe Country Club. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and three sisters. No services are planned, burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by MUEHLIG CHAPEL.
