Gelman settlement is welcome news<br><br>I was thrilled to read of the Gelman settlement in the Nov. 26 Ann Arbor News and I want to wish a very happy new year to all those residents in the immediate area of the Gelman (now Pall Life Sciences) dioxin “spill” who have fought for years (with little help from the rest of us) to rectify the danger. These people received no pay, lots of harassment and little praise. All of Ann Arbor has benefited from their long and noble struggle. Kudos to all of them!<br><br>Betty J.Wurtz, Ann Arbor
