Blown Into Eternity
Tarettown, N. Y., May 20.- A work train on the Hudson River road was )lown to atcnis yesterday, oae mile and a half below ïarrytown, by an explosión of dyuamite in transportation for blasting purposes in track construction. There were possibly fifty men, including Italan laborers and trammen, on board. Üf hese eighteen were instantly killed and ifteen terribly torn and wounded. Many of the dead were blown into the river, and five bodies still remain there unreovered. The train was blown to atoms, he tracks ripped froni their bed and a great hole inany feet deep dug out of the arth, totally blocking traffic on the raiload for many hours.
