Christmas At The Churches

Another Christmas has rolled around bringing its customary share of glad brightness for both young aud old. The several churches in Ann Arbor have with their usual thoughtfulness provided for the enjoyment of their Sunday school children and we give a list of the entertainments so far í 8 they have come to our knowledge. St. Andrew's Sunday school will have its Christmas festival and tree in Harris hall this afternoon at 4 o'clook. Trinity Lutheran church - Christmas exercises and tree for the children this evening. The Preebyterian Snnday school had its Christmas entertainment in the parlora of the church last eveniug. The children of the M. E. Sanday sohool will be given a snpper in the carlors of the ohurch this evenins. The Germán M. E. chnrch Sunday schocil will bave its annuul festival in tbe church tomorrow eveuing. The Third ward rnission Sunday sobool had its Christmas entertainment ast Friday afternoon. Over 100 persons were present aud after the entertainment every soholar in tbe sohool reoeived gifts of oaudy. The superintendent and most of tbe teaobers are students at the University and the entertainment was beid thns eary on acoonnt of the closing of tbe Unievrsity for tbe holidays. Zion Latberan, Bethlehem Evangelical and Grace Lntheran Sunday sohools will bave their festivals in the several churches nained tbis evenioc. Tomoirow, Chirstmas Day, services wiJl be held at the different charohes as follows: St. Andrew's chuich - 6:30 a. m., celebration of the Holy Communion; 10:30 a. m., moruing prayer, serraou and Holy Commuuion. Trinity Lntherau - Christmas service and sermón at 10:30 a. m. There will be a unión service of a devotional character in the First Presbyterian church tomoirow afc 10:30 a. m. led hy Rev. J. W. Bradsbaw. St. Thomas chnrcb - Services at 6:00, 8:00 and 10:00 o'clook a. rn., and at 7 :30 p. m. Tbe 6 o'clock service will be a solemn high mass. The Christmas offerings will be for the benefit of the new cburcb. Zion Lufcherau chnrch - Service at 10 30 a. m. Bethlehem Evangelicé church - Service at 10 :30 a. in. Grace Lutheran cbnrch - Service at 10:30 a. m.
