Rites Held For Realty Broker
Funeral services were held today for a longtime Ann Arbor real estate broker who died Tuesday at the Georgian Bloomfield Nursing Home in Bloomfield Hills following a long illness.
Myles A. Standish of 1718 E. Stadium Blvd. was 50 years old at the time of his death. He was a real estate broker here for 25 years, associated with Standish and Standish.
Mr. Standish was born in Ann Arbor on Dec. 1, 1923, to Dr. Delmar E. and Hazel M. Beaubien Standish. He was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and the local Elks Lodge No. 325. He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Funeral services were held from St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Frank Srebernak officiating. Burial followed at Forest Hill Cemetery.
