Description

Approaching social media can be very daunting. Where to begin? How do I start? What do I post? Ellen Sherman will be here to discuss tips and best practices to get you started on Instagram, the popular photo app. Instagram is a very visual platform, so a great place to start if you're an artist, designer, crafter, or freelance creative who wants to explore new ways to approach marketing.

Ellen Sherman is an abstract artist working in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She graduated with a BFA in Studio Art from Michigan State University in 2008 and moved to Miami, Florida where she began her career as a professional artist.

Art Talks, in partnership with the Ann Arbor Art Center, is a series of professional development events for artists, designers, crafters and freelance creatives that are free and open to the public. Come to learn tips and tricks of the trade through talks by guest speakers and stick around after the Q & A to connect with other artists in the community.
