Where
Downtown Library: Multi-Purpose Room
Description
Join us for an hour of storytelling and poetry reading.
Sam Martin and other young performers from the Neutral Zone will discuss what it means to make history on their own terms. Drawing from a rich past and the complex realities of today, these young poets have found their voice and speak proudly in their performances. Each speaker will present pieces on how they will continue to shape history in today’s culture.
This is one of several events in February celebrating Black History Month.
