Description

Anna Hrachovec of Mochimochi Land will get you started with the art of stop-motion animations! Anna's best known for her knitting creations that she brings to life through animated GIFs and videos. Her clients include Nickelodeon and Sesame Street, and her GIF of a gnome knitting a heart was declared “Top GIF of 2017” by GIPHY.com.

In this workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of stop-motion, plus a few inside tips, and create your own mini-animation as part of a team.

We’ll use a free mobile app called Stop Motion Studio. If you have a smart phone, iPad or tablet of your own please download the free app in advance of the workshop and bring your device. We expect a large crowd and we will be sharing library devices. Also you may bring favorite small toys, figures or objects to use as subjects and backgrounds for your animation.
