School Board To Select New Officers

The electicp ofa new 1 dent and vice president of the Ann Arbor Board of Education, plus the swearing in of threel new trustees - Cecil W. Warner, Ronald Bishop and Henry Johnson - will highlight tomorrow's 7:30 p.m. meeting of the school board. The session will be held at the School Administrative Offices, 1220 Wells. Other scheduled agenda items include : - Tentative approval of thel 1969-70 budget, plus setting July 9 as the date for a formal 1 lic hearing on the budget; - Adoption of a proposed discipline policy for all Ann Arbor Public Schools; [ - Action on a request from the Ann Arbor Recreationl Department t o appropriate $5,000 for a Life Long Learning Program for local senior citizens, and j - Approval of a resolution to sell the bonds for a fifth junior high school. At a 5:30 p.m. public briefing session, a number of items will be discussed, including a proposal to implement the recommendations in a report by the Citizens' Safety Committee.
