. City officials are holding some informal discussions with "rock concert" leaders in an attempt to smooth the way for the holding of these youth activities this summer. Last summer, the City Council adopted rules prohibiting rock concerts near residential areas - namely West Park. Some of the youths involvod with the rock concerts have been circulating petitions in the West Park area in an attempt to obtain the consent of área residents to use this park for concerts.
