'FORT' OF LEAVES: Keeping children occupied and at the same time getting a household "chore" accomplished is usually hard to do, but several Ypsilanti parents found the answer. Front yards in a block of Oakwood Ave. were picked clean of fallen leaves one recent afternoon when this group of neighborhood playmates contrived a "fort" of leaves, perhaps practicing for the traditional wintertime snow fort. Curb Service: Youngsters who live on Creal Court had a special treat Saturday evening as their mothers handed out soft drinks and popsicles on a mass basis. About 80 Creal Court youngsters enjoyed the event.

Reed, 601 Westwood Ave., yesterday and enacted "The Three Little Pigs" and three scenes from Mother Goose.
