Variety's The Word: If there's one word which characterizes this season's ski fashions it's variety. For a sampling: At the left, U-M coed Tally Walker wears an aqua warm-up suit with contrasting textures of diamond quilt and smooth nylon while Mike Fox sports "farmer pants" in bright green and yellow set off with yellow turtleneck and suspenders. Bright yellow boots complete his outfit. At the right, Tally Walker wears a fur-lined vest which zips or opens to show the lining inside, red, white and blue boots and a white western-style hat. Anne Derleth, holding psychedelic print skis, wears a purple jumpsuit in new stretch gabardine with a white shell underneath, along with a crash helmet which would double for motorcycling.
