EXPERT MAP READERS AND MAKERS: These six women and a seventh who was absent when the picture was taken received certificates at graduation exercises on the University campus today following completion of a government-sponsored course in surveying, typographical mapping and photogrammetry. Shown examining some of the maps are Miss Gloria Lively, Grand Rapids; Mrs. Edna E. Clement, Ann Arbor; Miss Mary Katherine Otthouse, Wooster, O.; Miss Ruth Hollister, Ann Arbor; Mrs. Marlen Wren, Ann Arbor; and Miss Nancy Moore, Union City. The seventh graduate is Miss Alice W. Riddle, Detroit. All have been offered government positions.
