Wet, frightened, and 18 feet off the ground, this cat's meowings were heard yesterday afternoon by a Third St. passerby, who called the Washtenaw County Humane Society. Herbert Gay, humane officer, made the rescue. Owners of the freed feline collected him an hour later from the society's shelter.
