A BIRTHDAY EASTER BUNNY: Defying chilly temperatures and taking advantage of the city's snow cover, this group of shorts-clad high school girls built an Easter bunny Saturday afternoon at 516 Berkley Ave. The occasion was the birthday of Linda Woodworth (standing on ladder), who lives at the Berkley address. 84 Descendants Honor Her: Mrs. John Ashfal of Chelsea is being honored today on her 90th birthday not only by a host of Chelsea neighborhood friends but also by a grand total of 84 descendants. These latter include four sons and seven daughters, living in Chelsea, Dexter, Saline, Grass Lake, Arlington, Va., Westchester, Pa., Detroit and California, 27 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. She lives with her daughter, Mrs. John Kalmbach of Chelsea. Mrs. Ashfal, her husband and the six older children came to United States from Germany in 1892. She is guest of honor today of the Woman's Guild of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church of Francisco at the home of another daughter, Mrs. Fred Taylor of Grass Lake.
