With a plate of tasty cookies on the kitchen table, members of the Richard Chesbrough family of 364 Hazelwood begin making Easter holiday preparations. Ukranian egg decorating occupies the attention of (left to right) Ricky, Caroline, Mrs. Chesbrough, Hank and infant Charlie. They will store raw eggs in a cool place until they dry out for next year's decorating. Last year's eggs are now dried and ready for use as decorations for this Easter.

Published In:
Ann Arbor News, March 23, 1965
Caption:
Intent, avid countenances, not the usual day-dreaming, vacation-time looks, were typical this morning as countless Ann Arborites gathered around television sets to watch the Gemini rocket blast off into space. Like other homes was this scene in the living room of the Rev. and Mrs. Fred Holtfreter, 1525 Barnard, whose five children were joined by four neighbors to watch the dramatic events at Cape Kennedy.
