Construction workers nearby are checking Shuck's injuries. The Grayling resident died of multiple internal injuries at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital about an hour after the N. University Ave. accident yesterday. Duane Strieter, 20, of Saline, driver of the truck, told police he did not see Shuck behind him as he backed his vehicle. Shuck was an Ann Arbor Construction Co. employee assigned to a paving job on N. University Ave. near the U-M's North Hall.
