Children Try Out Jet For Size. Krena, five and her brother Daniel Christensen, eight, had the good fortune to be the first children to sit in an F-80 jet cockpit at the Armed Forces day open house over the weekend. M/Sgt. Robert Shumard of the 472nd Fighter and Bomber Reserve Squadron at the Willow Run base is explaining what two youngsters would be interested in knowing about a jet.
