The Michigan Central Railroad Superintendent

nounced the probability of W. B. Htrong's retiroment from the General Superintendency of the Michigan Central Railroad. It ig now definitely settled that Mr. Strong loavoa that road March lat at which time he will resume his former position as Superintendent of the Chicago, Burlington & Quiucy Railroad. Assiatant General Superintendent Henry Ledyard will be pro moted to the General Superintendency and the office of assistant will be abol ished. Mr.Ledyard will remain in Detroit. His admirable management of the Central while in the capacity of assiatant is a sufficienl guaran ty of the ability he will bring to the higher office to whioh his talents and exoutive ity hare olevated hitu.
