Description
Microgreens are the nutrient-rich shoots of vegetables that are harvested just after their first leaves develop. Radish, kale, broccoli, clover, alfalfa, oh my! Pick the flavor profile you want to add an easy, fresh boost to any meal at home. Andrew Sereno and Samuel Boyce of Fresh Forage restaurant will show you how they grow microgreens for their restaurant so you can do the same at home!
This event is just one part of our 3rd Annual Gardening & DIY Fest on Saturday, May 18 from 11:00-5:00 PM. In addition to the workshops there will be vendors selling handmade wares, plants, fresh flowers, body care and more!
There will also be representatives from area organizations like the Ann Arbor Farmers Market, Michigan Folk School, Ann Arbor Backyard Beekeepers Recycle Ann Arbor, Project Grow & many others!
