NO CURBING THEIR TRACK TALENTS: These seven Ann Arbor High thinclads have been playing an active part in the Pioneers' perfect-record dual meet season this year. They are, left to right, Roger Maugh, George Jayne, Bill Newman, Fred Adams, Capt. Bob Fowler, Vern Nixon and Prenty Ware. Coach Tim Ryan's team has won 11 straight dual meets this season to add to a string that has now grown to 26 in a row over three seasons.

They finished in that order in Saturday's Five-A League championships at Wines Field with Maugh going 12 feet, one inch for a new league record.
