...So She Baked 60 Pies Mrs. Ted Koehler knew 300 were coming for luncheon, so she baked 60 lemon pies. She started yesterday with preparations, got the baking under way at about 4 a.m. today in the Zion Lutheran Church kitchen. They were served this noon when about 300 women from southeastern Michigan gathered for the seventh annual convention of the Wayne Conference, Michigan District, of American Lutheran Church Women. Mrs. Koehler and her late husband have been in charge of meals for many Zion functions.
