JAZZ HARDWARE - Community High School musicians earned several bests at the School Jazz 2 Festival in Saginaw. From left: Erik Saran (outstanding soloist), Jim Kimball (front-best percussion), Geoff Estey (best guitar), Gwen Williams (best piano), Mike Grace (teacher-director), Mike Manley (coordinator of the festival from the Saginaw schools), and Ryan Claunch (best promising young musician). Claunch, who plays keyboards, wrote all the songs that Community High played in the event that attracted 300 musicians.

Another golf season has ended for the Ann Arbor Women's Golf Association and holding prizes won in 1968 are (left to right) Betty Richart, city champion and winner of the Seyfried Trophy and the Cile Cissel Memorial for medalist; Lee Fryer, annual nine-hole low gross award; Dea Clark, annual nine-hole low net award; Wilma Nielsen, the Barbara Rotvig Trophy for annual low net; Dee Jones, nine-hole Cile Cissel net championship, and Carol Dixon, Clara Cushing Trophy for 18-hole low gross. Jeannine Galetti, winner of the 18-hole Cile Cissel net championship was not present when the photo was made.
