DOUBLE CHAMPION: Bill Courtright, son of the University of Michigan golf coach, Ray Courtright, won just about all the honors open to a high school wrestler this season when he annexed both the state high school championship at 155 pounds and the state A.A.U. title at 145 pounds. In addition to being a star wrestler, Courtright is an excellent football and golf player. He was quarterback on the Ann Arbor High grid team last fall and formerly captained the Pioneer links squad.

WON A.A.U. TITLE: Bill Courtright, above, Ann Arbor high wrestler, won the state A.A.U. championship in the 112-pound weight division at Dearborn last Friday night. Courtright competed against an all-star field including grapplers from the University of Michigan and the Dearborn Boys club. Bill is the son of Ray Courtright, University of Michigan golf coach, and in addition to being a star wrestler is a promising golfer who will make a bid for a place on the Ann Arbor high team this spring. Courtright was coached by Don Drake of the Ann Arbor high staff.
