SANTA AND HIS DEER: Yesterday's spring-like weather didn't spoil St. Nick's visit to the city. His sleigh was equipped with wheels for just such emergencies, and he rolled merrily along his route, so rapidly that many children didn't get out of school in time to see the parade. Harassed parents then hurried to Jones School to give their disappointed children a look at Santa and the animals. There they were caught in a jam of people with the same thing in mind. A visit to the igloo pacified those small enough to crawl through the openings provided for that purpose.
