Careful, Rudolph, Your Slip Is Showing: One little girl said after the annual children's Christmas party yesterday afternoon in Hill Auditorium: "That wasn't a real reindeer, I could see some men's feet." But real or not, the reindeer, Santa Claus and other features of the party sponsored by the University Inter-Fraternity Council made a big hit with the hundreds of Ann Arbor children who attended. Bags of candy and peanuts distributed to each child added to the success of the occasion. The little miss in the picture had something special -- a ride on the back of "Rudolph."

Carlstrom played his own version of Santa Clause this morning when he hung up the "free coffee" sign to old customers and newcomers alike. "Business kind of picked up a little," Carlstrom noted.

Girl Scouts Bring Christmas To Perry Nursery - There's a lollipop in almost every little mouth as Girl Scout Troop 56 throws a Christmas party for the children at Perry Nursery School. Nine of the scouts -- two of them almost invisible -- mingle with youngsters. The troop, all fifth graders at Eberbach School, also supplied popcorn balls, candy canes and mended toys. It provided an example of one Red Feather agency helping another.
