The above is a picture of one of the largest litters of English Springer Spaniel puppies ever born in this vicinity. The litter numbered an even dozen. The dam, "Maiden Lane Beauty," has proved to be an excellent mother and is raising eleven of the youngsters, one having died when one day old. The Sire of the litter is "Man O' War's Mickey." The puppies are all strong and healthy individuals and are now five weeks old. There are nine champions in the four-generation pedigree of these young Springers. Their owner is Fred Nielsen, proprietor Nielsen Greenhouses, 1020 Maiden Lane, Ann Arbor.
